Position: PRT Mathematics Locations: Podar International School, Shirur,Ahilyanagar Job Type: Full-Time Reporting To: Academic Coordinator / Principal Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver engaging, concept-based lesson plans and assessments. Use various teaching methods, technology, and activities to make math interactive. Regularly evaluate and monitor student performance through tests and assignments. Prepare students for internal exams, Olympiads, and board assessments . Maintain classroom discipline, attendance records, and academic reports . Collaborate with peers for cross-subject projects and school-wide initiatives. Attend staff meetings, training programs, and parent-teacher interactions . Foster an environment that supports inquiry, creativity, and logical reasoning . Required Qualifications: Bachelors / Masters degree in Mathematics or related field. B.Ed. (Mandatory for TGT level) Minimum 02 years of teaching experience in middle Good command of spoken and written English . Comfortable with digital teaching tools / smart boards . Skills & Competencies: Strong subject knowledge in Algebra, Geometry, Arithmetic, and Statistics. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Ability to make abstract math concepts clear and practical. Passion for teaching and inspiring a love for mathematics in students. Organized, punctual, and committed to school responsibilities. Preferred Traits: Experience in CBSE or ICSE curriculum. Exposure to math enrichment programs (Olympiad, NTSE, etc.). Willingness to take part in co-curricular and academic development activities.
